ELPEDISON leads the “green” energy transition, today

ELPEDISON, the first independent electricity producer in Greece and one of the largest and most reliable suppliers of electricity and gas in the country, ensures an environmentally friendly power generation process, with its two privately owned plants in Thisvi, Viotia and Thessaloniki, able to run on natural gas and hydrogen.

Consistent in its daily commitment to produce and supply electricity safely, the Company has been contributing significantly to the energy supply of the country. In addition, ELPEDISON is a leading force in the supply of leading energy products and solutions. Having the innovation deep in its DNA and implementing significant investments of technological upgrade, the Company contributes to the path to the “Green” Transition.

In this context, in 2020, the Company proceeded to an investment of € 20 million for the further upgrade of its power plant in Thessaloniki, with the aim of increasing its production capacity in an environmentally friendly manner.
